At Coach Josh Boxing, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you sign up for our gym memberships or classes.
1. Information We Collect
When you register for a trial or membership, we collect identifying information such as your name, email address, phone number, physical address, and emergency contact details. We also collect physical health waivers required for athletic participation.
2. Payment Information
All credit card and billing information is routed and processed securely through our verified third-party gym management software (Gymdesk) and Stripe. Coach Josh Boxing does not store your raw credit card data on our local servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information exclusively to:
- Manage your facility access and class attendance.
- Communicate important schedule changes, gym closures, or billing updates.
- Send marketing communications regarding gym promotions (you may opt-out at any time).
4. Media & Photography
By attending Coach Josh Boxing classes, you consent to being photographed or filmed during training for promotional purposes on social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok), unless you explicitly submit a written request to opt-out.
5. Data Sharing
We do not, under any circumstances, sell or rent your personal data to third-party marketers. Your data is only shared with our essential service providers (like Gymdesk) directly required to operate the gym.
6. Analytics & Tracking (Cookies)
We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic and improve our online marketing efforts. Google Analytics uses "cookies" to collect aggregated, anonymous data such as IP address (anonymized), pages visited, time spent on the site, and device type.
Strict Consent: By default, we block Google Analytics from tracking your visit. These tracking scripts will only run if you explicitly click "Accept" on our cookie consent banner. If you choose to "Decline," no analytical cookies will be placed on your device.
If you wish to opt-out of Google Analytics across all websites you visit, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
7. Your Connecticut Privacy Rights (CTDPA)

- Correction: Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Deletion: Delete personal data provided by or obtained about you.

Health Data Consent: We only collect physical health waivers required for athletic participation with your explicit, affirmative consent during the membership or trial registration process. You may revoke this consent at any time, though it will affect your ability to participate in physical classes.
